Now my wife has gone to several Stars game a few years back and she knows Hockey better than I do. After some discussion we decide that Kaden and I would go. Now we went on a school night and he was already tired from the week, but we went anyways.</p> <p>When I was a kid my dad took me to a few baseball games. I still remember how fun that was and how we would always share peanuts. So Kaden and me shared a bag of peanuts and a drink. </p> <p>We laughed, told each other stories, <i>cheered with there was a fight</i>, <b>(Later talked about how fighting at school is not good)</b>, booed when the other team scored. Each day I fasted and took that time to pray and worship, I feel so much more on point with God and what He has called me to do. Spending time with God is what I need!</p> <p>Friday night we ending the week of prayer and fasting with a worship night. This night was a time when we could just run after God, and let Him have His way! I have only experienced God’s intense presence a few times in my life like that! The most beautiful part about it was we begin the process of moving past just singing songs together. The biggest struggle in a Sunday setting is getting past the songs. Now the songs play a very important part is what I do, don’t get me wrong. But I long for those encounters with God that change me, change the way I think, act, witness, believe…and that is more than just singing songs together. We move beyond the surface and get into where the Spirit of God messes with us, with the way WE want to live our lives…</p> <p>Saturday the Cowboys won! </p> <p><br/> Sunday we had a full day of church. 3 services in the morning and one more at 5pm. Man I was so tired, but I did enjoy it…</p> <p>Yesterday and today I have been working out of my local Starbucks. We had a pipe freeze and burst and flooded our offices. What a mess, lots of clean up taking place. I thought the idea was cool at first to work out of my local Starbucks, but I am beginning to feel like a moocher. Anita is such a special person to us, she is like a grandmother to my boys, a lifeline to my wife, and a encourager to me. I had the opportunity to have Anita work with me this past Summer during Project Longview. Thanks to all who made it happen.</p> <p>- Now that The Gift is over, fighting off a “funk”. My personality needs something like a big event to work toward. It has been a struggle to make it through my daily to do list…</p> <p>- My life is fulfilled with my family. Wonderful wife who loves to laugh with me and at me! And 2 fun loving, sweet boys! </p> <p>- My son Karson turned 2 Sunday. I’m getting old quick.</p> <p>- I have learned a great lesson this past weekend. I am at my best when those around me are at their best. God has placed people around with certain gifts and abilities, make room for their gift!</p> <p>- Christmas music is my favorite kind of music to play. Its so tough with all the crazy chords and inversions, but I love it!</p> <p>- Family is all you really got, so take care of them and let them take care of you.</p> <p>- I had to introduce myself to my family again after The Gift. I worked all day and night with some great people to pull that night off. We started our new series “The Next Level” a book that Pastor Hanks cowrote with Scott Wilson. The first message was “The Ownership Test”. Pastor brought a great message that challenged me and inspired me. Been a while that a message has done that at the same time.</p> <p>Great time of worship in both services. I am still amazing at how different each service is and how God moves differently in each one.
